The training program of Biban Youth Media Forum 2025 concluded in Istanbul, an event organized by the General Union of Yemeni Students in Türkiye under sponsorship and supervision of Tawakkol Karman Foundation, with participation of more than 30 young journalists and media students.
Held from 28 to 30 November 2025, the program featured six specialized training sessions delivered by experts and academics in digital media, dialogue, television storytelling, and youth initiatives.
The training aimed to equip young Yemenis with modern skills in content creation, strengthen their ability to design impactful media initiatives, and enhance their competencies in dialogue and social responsibility.
Program sessions included:
“Transformations in the Arab media landscape,” presented by Dr. Abdullah Al-Tamimi;
“Creating influential digital content,” presented by media professional Khaled Nour Al-Din;
“Television correspondent experience: Stories from around the world,” delivered by Ruqayya Çelik;
“Skills for presenting media dialogue,” presented by Dr. Ayman Khaled;
“Media and social responsibility,” presented by Dr. Mohammed Qaizan;
“Designing youth media initiatives,” presented by Yousef Beshr.
Alongside the training program, the Biban Media Competition was launched, inviting young talents to compete across three tracks: “Reel Your Mark,” “Biban Pen,” and “Türkiye Dimensions.”
The closing ceremony drew wide praise from participants, who highlighted the value of the diverse content and professionalism of the trainers. They emphasized that the forum served as an effective platform for building a youth media network that brings together experience and ambition.
Biban Youth Media Forum will continue its activities with announcement of competition results and honoring of winners at the final ceremony.
